This piece alludes to the ethereal vision of Prince on stage. I believe the rawness of performing on stage is a big part of the artistry that is Prince. I use my own abstract style to visualize the sound of Prince's music. For that, I incorporate a deep and rich palette filled with purple and yellow hues. The concept of this piece is inspired by album design covers and my own take on Prince's music.

Hello! My name is Abigail Villacis, but I prefer to go by Abi. I am 18 years old and am currently a fine arts student at Wake Tech. I began taking art classes officially at the beginning of the fall 2023 semester, however, I am self-taught and have been making art for a good while. In my art, I am guided by my intuition. I would describe my style as expressive with abstract tendencies, however, I am most familiar with drawing realistic portraits. I have ventured out into different mediums and enjoy creating pieces that can be unsettling to look at. You can find my art at @abzt_ract on Instagram. Hope you enjoy!
