An atmospheric abstract portrait of Prince using the complements of purple/yellow and blue/orange. I've chosen these colors because Prince's "Purple Rain" is iconic and one of my favorite songs is "Raspberry Beret" and Prince wears the classic cloud suit in the music video. By creating an ethereal feel and using the cloud suit and cloud guitar the portrait captures the spirit and transcendence of the late Maestro.

A self-taught African-American male artist, I (Zeus Alexander) focus on complementary colors, contrast and atmosphere in my paintings. I love the Ideas on individual light, enlightenment and emerging from darkness and I believe that to Improve oneself is to improve the world.
