I just got off an art bender of painting the muppets as “The Shining” characters so everywhere I look I still see some things as muppets. I planned on painting Prince Roger Nelson as “Le Petit Prince” but instead I painted the artist formerly known as Kermit singing “The Purple Connection” backed by Zoot (of the Muppet Revolution) on sax. Kermit is wearing Prince’s Purple Rain outfit (sorta) and singing in a large stadium with a light show. Metal accents added for some texture and to make the purple rain jacket look a bit more authentic.
